Handwritten letter on cream-colored paper, violet-tinted, written on the front and back sides. Zweig wrote the letter on his usual stationary with the round SZ monogram. On the left hand side there are holes for the binding. On the bottom half of the front page there is a note in Zweig’s handwriting, extending to the bottom margin, next to a stamp of the Stefan Zweig Archive and the archival signature (in pencil).
