Placement Committee for German and Austrian Musicians

Founded in New York in 1938 by the US composer Mark Brunswick (1902-1971), who had lived in Vienna from 1924 to 1938. This aid organisation helped with the emigration formalities for the USA and supported musicians after their arrival with funding and assistance in finding employment.
