a group of young Swedish poets and writers associated with the avant-garde magazine 40-tal in the 1940s. These included Stig Dagerman (1923-1954), Erik Lindegren (1910-1968), Bengt Gunnar Ekelöf (1907-1968), Karl Venneberg (1910-1995), Werner Aspenström (1918-1997).
